Dramatic in scope with towering ceilings and sprawling illuminated lanterns, Megu in midtown, an offshoot of Megu in Tribeca, is a bi-level space tucked inside the Trump World Tower across from the UN. Lavish in its decor, it tickles the senses: from the crystal chandelier at the front entrance, to the open sushi bar with ice-carved Buddha, to the vintage kimono-lined bar upstairs. Although vast, it is has softness and warmth, offering an ideal setting for a business lunch, an intimate dinner where one can sink into a gorgeous bottle of wine from the restaurant’s excellent list, or an exclusive dinner in one of their private spaces.
